This is not intended to be an exhaustive list; however, we’ve curated a list of organizations that relate to our initiatives and provide services or resources that may be of assistance to you. Community Outreach
- American Red Cross – 704-376-1661 www.redcross.org This organization helps communities recover from disaster/emergency situations.
- Crisis Assistance Ministry – 704-371-3001. This nonprofit helps with basic needs for low-income families.
- Legal Aid of North Carolina – 1-866-219-5262. This nonprofit law firm provides free legal assistance to low-income residents of North Carolina facing barriers in family law, employment and wage services, housing and more.
- Mecklenburg County Community Support Services – (704) 336-3210 www.css.charmeck.org Through partnerships and collaborative efforts, this organization provides support for military veterans, homelessness, substance use treatment and prevention and intervention in community and domestic violence.

- Mecklenburg County Children’s Developmental Services – www.mecknc.gov This department supports families to help children (age 0-3) at risk with developmental problems.

- National Domestic Violence Hotline – 1-800-799-7233. This is a 24-hour Crisis Hotline for victims, survivors of domestic violence.
- National Teen Dating Violence Hotline – 1-866-331-9474 www.loveisrespect.org and to chat online. TEXT: loveis to 22522 Support for teen victims of domestic violence.
- Safe Alliance – (980) 771-4673. This organization provides support for those impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault.
