We work with a network of community partners and Foundation grantees to provide enhanced, life sustaining resources and programs to the Haitian community.
Our initiatives include the following:
Community Outreach
Improving Communities & Lives
To provide enhanced basic social services, necessary for improved daily living by:
- Establishing partnerships with houses of faith to help meet the needs of the community
- Sponsoring food and clothing drives
- Providing funding towards long or short term housing
Leadership Development
Building Leaders for a Positive Impact
To build leaders who are equipped to positively impact Haiti, their communities and potentially the world through:
- Funding of training seminars, workshops and programs to develop leadership competencies
- Community service initiatives
- College, career and cultural education, including facilitation of our leadership scholarship, sponsorship and mentorship programs
Mental Health Services
Understanding & Support
To provide a safe place with genuine understanding where individuals, couples and families can learn tools to manage daily stressors, crisis situations, and build and maintain healthy relationships.
- Promote good mental health practices through educational and workshop opportunities
- Provide access to pro-bono or reduced rate therapy services
- Collaborate with community partners to promote and support case management services such as psychological assessments and medication management
