The Marie Aline Gay Heart For Haiti Foundation is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization. We are dedicated to empowering and promoting the overall wellbeing of Haiti, her descendants in the United States and across the globe. Our mission is to facilitate rebuilding Haiti by channeling sustaining and life changing resources through fundraising and sponsoring efforts, one individual, family, community at a time.

To accomplish this endeavor, we are committed to channeling sustaining and life changing resources through fundraising and sponsoring efforts. This involves connecting the Haitian community with our network of partners and Foundation grantees, who have a proven track record and a heart for service, to provide essential resources. Those resources could include Community Outreach, Leadership Development and Mental Health Services
Manman’s story
Born in Morvan, Jérémie, Haiti, Marie Aline Gay, aka, “Soeur Yvon,” or “Manman” as she was affectionately known, was above all things, a woman of great character and tremendous faith. While she was both gentle and humble, she had a significant and life-changing impact on her family, friends, church, community, and the people of her beloved native land — Haiti.
Meet The Co-Founders
Vanessa Pierre-Parker
MA, LMFT, TF-CBT, Co-Founder & President
Vanessa Pierre-Parker grew up in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and migrated to the United States at the age of 12. She has dedicated over 20 years to careers in human resources and mental health services with experience in academic settings, houses of faith, community-based agencies, corporate organizations, and private practice.
Dr. Cinque N. Parker
DSL, MS, MBA, PMP, CPC, Co-Founder & Vice President
CEO and co-founder of Kindling House, LLC, Cinque Parker is a certified strategic intervention coach and consultant, with over 20 years’ experience in multi-functional and global operations from multiple fortune 500 companies, including 12 years in global portfolio/project management and various levels of coaching and line management.
